The five-day skill development program of FBR officers on system audit of withholding agents will be concluded on September 2, 2019 (today). Dr Aftab Imam, Chief Commissioner, said that the training covered the major aspects of the given curriculum. The training was being imparted through interactive sessions and the candidates were encouraged to freely discuss their queries and share their experiences.

For many officers, especially for the newly appointed assistant commissioners, the concept was new and the officers gained substantial knowledge of system audit and of conducting such audit. The participants considered training practically helpful in improving the collection of taxes withheld by withholding agents through system audit. The participants appreciated the use of practical examples and real-life scenarios by the trainer.

At the same time, the trainer incorporated the feedback of the participants and the presentation was further updated to incorporate the comments and suggestion of the participants gathered in first two days of the training. According to details, this new initiative was launched by Dr Aftab Imam, Chief Commissioner, Corporate Regional Tax Office, Karachi under the directives of Chairman FBR Shabbar Hussain Zaidi.

The skill development program of FBR officers on system audit of withholding agents which is aimed at monitoring and improving the collection and deposition of withholding tax is being conducted at RTO building, Karachi. The training will be concluded on September 2, 2019 (today), attended by the officers of all seven field formations from Sindh and Balochistan.

Total 144 officers attended the training sessions - 29 from Corporate RTO, Karachi, 65 from RTO-II, Karachi, 21 from RTO-III, Karachi, 19 from LTU-II, Karachi, 05 from RTO Hyderabad, 04 from RTO, Sukkur and 01 from RTO, Quetta.
