South Korean grains importer Korea Corn Processing Industry Association (KOCOPIA) purchased about 60,000 tonnes of food-quality corn expected to be sourced from the United States, in a deal on Wednesday, European traders said. It was bought at $212.20 a tonne c&f including surcharge for additional port unloading. The corn is for arrival in South Korea on around June 25 with shipment optionally from the US Pacific Northwest coast between May 21 and June 10 or from the US Gulf between May 1-20.
