Tribal Youth Development Society (TYDS) has alleged the Fata Development Authority (Fata-DA) for misappropriation of funds, meant for different road infrastructure schemes and other uplift projects in the tribal districts and urged the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to conduct inquiry into the alleged anomalies in the development funds.

Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday, TYDS president Asim Orakzai said that Fata-DA had become hub of corruption and claimed that he has sufficient proof about misuse of development funds in tribal districts. So, he urged that all development schemes of Fata-DA should be probed through NAB and involved officials should be brought to justice in order to ensure transparency in utilization of uplift funds.
