Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) celebrated International Women's Day by organizing various events under the theme 'Better the balance, Better the world', where female employees participated with passion and enthusiasm across Pakistan. The session held at the PTCL Academy in Islamabad featured distinguished women speakers from different walks of life including Alia Zafar, HR Head, Askari Bank, Shahnaz Kapadia, CEO & Founder, Mera Maan, Fatima Anila, Founder, Alishverish and Samar Hassan, Co-Founder, Epiphany.

The guest speakers shared their success stories and how they overcame challenges throughout their professional careers. They talked about how women can help forge a more gender-balanced world through entrepreneurship, leadership roles and innovation. On the occasion, Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resource Officer, PTCL, said, "At PTCL, we make concerted efforts to encourage and support women in bringing out their true potential by giving them safe, open and healthy environment. The International Women's Day celebrates the achievements of women in our society and around the world. Our organizational culture is conducive and encourages women to be empowered in their careers and lives."

The focus of the event was to make the session interactive with women participants. They were also provided with professional guidance with real life scenarios in the lives of working women.
