Committee said a state of uncertainty is being created in the city, which is source of concern. It advised Sindh government to arrest the criminals and culprits rather than putting the political workers behind the bars. Members of coordination committee referred to killing of a political party's worker a day earlier, target killing of former MNA Ali Raza Abidi, and attack on a religious gathering of MQM-P and said all these incidents speak of the lawlessness in the city.
MQM-P demanded Sindh Governor, Chief Minister and Home Minister to take effective measures and stop the killing of citizens and occurrence of crimes in the city. Party also demanded that offices of MQM-P should be provided security in view of bad security situation in the metropolis.
