All the chambers presented joint proposals to the adviser for tariff rationalisation in upcoming federal budget. Abdul Razak Dawood stated that the government is taking measures and more will be taken to boost investment in the country. According to an official statement, the delegation welcomed the Saudi investment in the country and appreciated the current government's efforts to bring such a huge investment. The delegation also congratulated adviser on the successful completion of Pak-Saudi Business Conference.
The delegation also requested to remove customs duties on raw materials which are used for re-export of products. The adviser assured the delegation of full support and cooperation to resolve all the issues faced by the industry. He further stated that more reforms will be introduced to bring improvement in industrial sector.
