On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,608. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 65.803 billion and the number of lots traded 72,495. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 PKR 59.721 billion followed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2.541 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.407 billion, gold PKR 1.368 billion, DJ PKR 260.255 million, silver PKR 205.998 million, platinum PKR 140.458 million, SP500 PKR 91.755 million, natural gas PKR 30.177 million, Palladium PKR 18.875 million, Brent crude oil PKR 10.772 million and copper PKR 7.049 million.

In agriculture commodities 13 lots of cotton valued at PKR 15.727 million were traded.
