Appreciating the package of economic reforms recently announced by the government, he emphasised that the announcement made in supplementary finance bill should be implemented with the real spirit, which may increase the employment opportunities and boost economic activities and help to reduce cost of doing business.
He welcomed the decisions of abolishing the W/holding tax in cash withdrawal for filer and the decision of restoration of FTR on the demand of PCDMA in supplementary finance bill for commercial importers. He urged to reduce customs duties the export oriented industries will get cheap raw material, which will make them competitiveness in international market and get the same opportunities with competitors and restore the image of businessman of Pakistan.
