Four companies have placed the lowest offers for a Pakistan LNG''s tender for liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for delivery over March and April, according to a company document. Gunvor International, Vitol Bahrain, SOCAR Trading and Petronas LNG placed the lowest offers to deliver five LNG cargoes, according to the document posted on the company website.

The company had earlier shortlisted eight companies out of 30 offers received. Offers for the cargoes range from about 11.87 percent to 12.82 percent of Brent crude oil prices, according to the document. The prices are expressed in the document as a "slope" of crude oil prices, a percentage of the Brent crude price, and are typically a pointer for the opaque spot LNG market. Pakistan LNG is seeking five LNG cargoes for delivery over March 3 to 4, March 17 to 18, April 2 to 3, April 13 to 14 and April 26 to 27. The tender closed on Jan. 30 and is expected to be awarded in February.
