Pakistan's knitwear export grew to $1.214 billion in July-Nov 2018-19, up by 11 percent, official figures say. Increase in knitwear export comes to $11.627 million in July-Nov 2018-19 from $1.098 billion in July-Nov 2017-18, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics shows. Knitwear export volume shot up by 20.24 percent or 8.813 million dozens to 52.171 million dozens in July-Nov 2018-19 from 43.358 million dozens in July-Nov 2017-18.

In Nov 2018, the country exported $251.595 million of knitwear, which stands higher by 11.19 percent or $25.336 million from $226.259 million in Nov 2017. Export quantity of knitwear surged by 34 percent or 3.128 million dozens to 12.456 million dozens in Nov 2018 from 9.328 million dozens in Nov 2017.
