The meeting was also attended by representatives of motor cycle manufacturers association, trekking companies, provincial Police and Excise departments respectively; Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Citizen Police Liaison Committee Sindh reviewed the progress made in the exercise during last few months. It was observed with satisfaction, that as per directives of the home minister, the objective was needed to be accomplished through consensus among all concerned stakeholders.
Minister Anwar Khan Sial addressing the meeting said the trekking device was crucial to contain criminal elements as not only unassuming motor cyclists are easy targets of the snatchers but the two wheel vehicle is also largely used in criminal activities. "Elimination of criminals and their touts is among our top most priorities," said the home minister.
