The futures spread increased by 600bps to negative 5.63 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained thin as average daily volumes decreased by 41.1 percent to 71.46 million shares during this week as compared to previous week's average of 121.24 million shares. The average daily trading value on the futures counter declined by 35.6 percent to Rs 2.812 billion during this week.
