Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesman of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has alleged that an administration crisis is being created in Punjab in the name of police reforms. He said that the current police reforms would bring destruction instead of any change. "There is no more room for destruction after Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar's actions. The province has been destroyed by the bad administration of Chief Minister Buzdar," he said.

Senator Khokhar in a statement said that police reforms are needed but to put police force under deputy commissioners would bring police and administration to a conflict. "PPP does not agree to the colonial Raj system in the name of police reforms. Imran Khan's goal is to use police and administration against political opponents. How will deputy commissioners who do not perform their assigned duties well, operate police force?" he asked.

Senator Khokhar said that local body system was done away with by Punjab and powers were given to deputy commissioners but the performance has gone from bad to worse by this action. He said that deputy commissioners have failed recently to control dengue. There is a waste management crisis not only in small cities but also big cities including Islamabad, he said. There is no hope of improvement or reforms in Punjab and Pakistan until Usman Buzdar and Imran Khan are occupying the positions of CM and PM respectively, he claimed.
