Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that any deal with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is out of question. The PPP chairman expressed these views while talking to the media on Monday after having a meeting with his father and former president Asif Ali Zardari at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi.

Answering a question about any possible deal with the government he said, "There is no question of any deal and there will no deal at all." About the matter of protest and call of 'Azadi March' given by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JIU-F) Emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he said that there could be a middle ground but PPP has its own policy on sit-in politics and everybody knows about it.

He said that jail is not something new for the former president as he had spent 11 years in jail. "It is unfortunate that in the same city of Rawalpindi Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was judicially murdered and a petition is pending in the Supreme Court regarding this murder. If no one is ready to apologize for his judicial murder then what will be the situation with the common citizens of this country. My father is sick in the jail but he is brave. He is ready to suffer for the people of this country and democracy. We are proud that Zardari is not ready to compromise on principles just like Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto," the PPP chairman said.

The PPP chairman said that his party has a different stance related to the protest and they are willing to find a middle ground. He said that he would meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman to condole on the death of JUI-F leader Maulana Muhammad Hanif in an explosion in Chaman on Saturday last. He said if any middle ground is found in the meeting with the JUI-F, the PPP will extend support more than mere cooperation.

About unity among opposition parties, he said that the PPP has been in contact with all opposition parties including PML-N. Answering a question about accountability process, Bilawal said that PTI's "selected government" has imprisoned political opponents without any evidence and it is not accountability but political victimization.

Regarding cases against Syed Murad Ali Shah, he said that the court itself had asked on whose directives the names of Syed Murad Ali Shah and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were included in the JIT report. There is no moral or constitutional reason to arrest Syed Murad Ali Shah and if he is arrested, it will be a bad omen for the federation because he is the chief minister of a federating unit who has been elected the CM with the greatest majority in the history of Sindh province. His arrest will be like crossing a red line for PPP and the PPP will very strongly oppose such action that the people will forget Azadi March by JUI-F.

He said that it is the time to get rid of this 'puppet government' as Prime Minister Imran Khan's every promise and slogan proved a lie. "The selected government did not come to power with the votes of the people but it is imposed on the people, so they have no feeling for the masses. Common people are worried about their utility bills and making the both ends meet with meager income they have, he said. He said when the PPP comes to power, it works for welfare of the poor rather than the rich but at present the people are worried because of rising inflation. They have been drowned in a tsunami of inflation, he said.

About Kashmir, he asked why India did not attack Kashmir in the last 70 years and why it attacked Kashmir now. "Puppet PM Imran Khan failed to apprise the world of this attack in the UN General Assembly," he claimed.
