What will happen in the occupied Kashmir once curfew is lifted after almost two months of siege through which New Delhi has turned the valley into world's largest prison? Indian troops have erected concrete and razor-wire barricades as troops in bulletproof gear guarded deserted streets following orders to stop any public rallies.

There is no doubt about what prime minister Imran Khan said in his United Nations speech the other day that conditions in Kashmir are radicalizing a new generation and that he himself would take up arms in their situation. The United Nations must do something to help the situation in occupied Kashmir without any further loss of time.
