On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,267. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 7.991 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 11,831.

Major business was contributed by WTI Crude Oil amounting to PKR 4.056 billion followed by Gold PKR 1.843 billion, Currencies through COTS PKR 878.250 million, Platinum PKR 238.632 million, DJ PKR 228.349 million, NSDQ100 PKR 204.133 million, Silver PKR 161.990 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 132.155 million, SP500 PKR 109.281 million, Copper PKR 56.211 million, Palladium PKR 49.794 million and Natural Gas PKR 32.218 million. In agriculture 2 lots of Wheat valued at PKR 7.550 million and 12 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.822 million were traded.
