Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken a notice of torture being committed by officials of Dolphin police force on a youth in Lahore and sought a report from CCPO Lahore. He directed that departmental as well as legal action should be initiated against those officials being found involved in committing torture. Despite issuance of clear-cut instructions, occurrence of such an incident is deplorable.

Usman Buzdar said that there is a dire need to change the police culture and attitude in order to preempt occurrence of such incidents in future.
