Chicago Board of Trade corn futures eased on Wednesday as late summer heat across much of the US Midwest crop belt was seen boosting development of the late-seeded crop, traders said. Declines were limited by short-covering ahead of the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) monthly crop supply-and-demand report due on Thursday. The agency is expected to reduce its US crop forecast in the report. CBOT December corn ended 1-1/2 cents lower at $3.60 per bushel.
