Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Ahmed Al Jubeir and Foreign Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan have assured complete support of both their countries 'to resolve the situation created by India's unilateral steps in Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K)', the ISPR said. The Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) said in a statement on Thursday that Adel Ahmed M Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Foreign Minister of UAE, called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) at Rawalpindi.

The matters of mutual interest including growing bilateral ties and security situation in the region were discussed, it stated, adding the Army Chief highlighted that Pakistan was proud of its special strategic and brotherly relationship with Saudi Arabia and the UAE. "Visiting dignitaries appreciated Pakistan's role for peace and stability in the region and assured of their full support to resolve the situation created by India's unilateral steps in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K)," the ISPR further stated.

The foreign ministers of the two countries arrived here on Wednesday and held meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to discuss the latest developments in the region.
