The legal fraternity on Friday took out rallies in the metropolis on the call of Prime Minister Imran Khan to express solidarity with Kashmiris against the Indian aggression. Staff of Punjab Election Commission also took out rally and expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris. Additional Attorney General Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan, Advocate General Punjab Ahmad Jamal Sukhera, Punjab Bar Council Vice chairman Shahnawaz Ismail and Lahore High Court Bar Association's Secretary Fayaz Ranjha led the rally.

The lawyers marched on the Mall Road holding Kashmir's flags and chanted slogans for the independence of Kashmir. Members of Lahore Bar Association also marched on the Mall Road from Aiwan-e-Adl to GPO Chowk.
