The parliamentary secretaries are members of the Lower House from the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and are appointed by the Prime Minister to assist cabinet ministers, advisers and special assistants. The parliamentary secretaries are answerable to the Parliament in absence of the ministers.
Saleh Mohammad has been given charge of parliamentary secretary for water resources. Prince Muhammad Nawaz Allai has been appointed as parliamentary secretary for the Ministry of Science and Technology, Muhammad Bashir Khan as secretary for privatisation, Sahabzada Sabghatullah for postal services, Khial Zaman as secretary for Petroleum Division, Muhammad Yakoob Shaikh as secretary for Economic Affairs Division, Malik Nawar Taj as secretary for Ministry of Industry and Production, Nasir Khan Musazai as secretary for Establishment Division and Saleem Rehman has been appointed as secretary for parliamentary affairs.
