Chinese delegation has offered to introduce modern technology through joint ventures to bring improvement in the textile industry.

Chief Executive Officer of a Chinese company-Yantai Zhonglian Industry Ms Jiang Xuelian held a meeting here at the Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) office and discussed the prospects of collaboration with the local textile units.

Representatives from various local textile units engaged in different activities including woven fabric, knitted fabric, and flannel fabric took active part in B2B discussion.

Ms Jiang said that her company was capable of designing, manufacturing, exporting and also making the domestic sale. The company has a self-owned brand "Yesnow Yesnow" also won the name of "National green consumption optimization household goods. Her company also won "top ten most influential brand of the ordinary people's life" and "top 100 private companies in Yantai city", she said.

"We want to introduce innovative contemporary technology of Europe to Pakistan" she added. Our company has established global operation and has self-management export right to export the products to North America, Europe, Australia, Canada and other countries and regions, she said.

The Chamber's executive committee members Dawood Ahmad and Farooq Ali Khan Sherwani also spoke on the occasion and said that China had been an incredible support to Pakistan at all times.

"The constant assistance of China will do wonders for the emerging economic status of Pakistan and these B2B meetings will certainly have a positive impact on the business community", they said.

It is notable that PCJCCI expedited the efforts of holding business-to-business meetings and exhibitions with the aim to provide one-stop shop for all industry products from processing technology to the finished products, which will help develop bilateral relations between Pakistan and China, they said.
