The meeting reviewed the arrangements to make the upcoming 'Kashmir Bachao March'-a successful event in Peshawar and other affairs. The meeting called to inform people about the upcoming March by visiting door-to-door and convey the party message at every nook and corner. Ateequr Rehman while speaking at the meeting said that the forthcoming Kashmir Bachao March in Peshawar will be a historic one, which would address by JI Central emir, and Senator Sirajul Haq and Kashmiris leadership, which aimed at to convey message of Kashmiris brothers and sisters.
He expressed the hope that a large number of people, including lawyers, members of civil society, workers, journalists and people from different walks of life would participate in the Peshawar event and will express love, affection and solidarity with people of Kashmir. JI leader said they will give a message to India through the 'Kashmir Bachao March' that the whole nation standby with people of Kashmir in their present time testing situations. He emphasized the core issue of Kashmir should be resolved accordance to UN relevant resolutions.
He said the people of Pakistan have grave concerned over ongoing brutalities and atrocities, which are being carried out by the Indian troops on innocent people in the occupied Kashmir. The JI leaders called upon the government and the political parties to shun their political differences and prepare a joint roadmap for the freedom of Kashmir. He demanded immediate withdrawal of the Indian armed forces from Kashmir. They also demanded to convene an emergency meeting of the OIC in Islamabad on Kashmir issue.
