The trainee officers of 25th Senior Management Course, National Management College, Lahore visited FBR on Wednesday and got a detailed briefing on the functioning and performance of Federal Board of Revenue. Later, the participants were given a detailed presentation by Member, Facilitation and Taxpayers Education (FATE), Mustafa Sajjad Hassan who briefed about the functioning of FBR and highlighted the achievements and performance of the institution.

The Chairman FBR, Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan in his remarks welcomed the trainee officers and answered their queries. The Chairman FBR explained about the tax policies being adopted by the present Government to broaden the tax net and to overcome systemic tax impediments. He further talked about the Integrity and Performance Management Unit (IPMU) being set up by FBR and highlighted the efforts of FBR to expose Benaami transactions.-PR
