The JI chief appreciated the government decision not to attend the OIC meeting at which India had also been invited. JI deputy chief Rashid Naseem, JI chief for central Punjab Amirul Azeem also addressed the workshop.
Sirajul Haq said the Kashmiris' hatred for India was evident from the fact that Indian premier Modi could not a find resting place during his recent tour to Held Kashmir as millions of Kashmiris had poured out to protest against his visit. He said India had already realized that even if it sent its entire army to Kashmir, it won't be able to crush the liberation movement. That was why Modi's anguish had gone out of control.
He said that Modi's enmity for the Muslims was not a secret because he was the man behind the massacre of thousands of Muslims of Indian Gujrat and the demolition of the historic Babri mosque. He said that under Modi's rule, the brutalities of the Indian troops in Kashmir had crossed all limits. The houses, orchards, fields, markets, mosques and madrissahs of the Kashmiris were demolished and burnt into ashes. Despite that, the Kashmiris freedom movement could not be crushed.
He said the Kashmiri educated youth had also joined the liberation movement and the students of colleges and universities were taking active part in the struggle.
Sirajul Haq said that Modi had attacked this country to secure votes of the extremist Hindus but he had got a befitting answer and the Indian government was now feeling the wounds of the defeat. He said that unless and until, the Kashmir issue was resolved, the clouds of war would continue hovering over the region. He said that the entire Pakistani nation stood shoulder to shoulder with its valiant armed forces to give a memorable lesson to the enemy if it did not alter its plans.
