Lawyers community on Thursday took out a rally against Indian aggression and vowed to stand by the armed forces of the country against the nefarious designs of the enemy. At the rally, lawyers' community leaders said that it is a "peace rally" as Pakistanis are peace-loving nation and have no designs of adventures against any country.

They said that self-defence is the fundamental right of every country and in the same spirit, two warplanes of Indian Air Force were shot down when these intruded into the Pakistan's airspace. They said that Pakistan's desire for peace should not be construed its weakness as we don't want to push the region into a war.

Before the rally, an extraordinary general body meeting of Karachi Bar Association (KBA) was held, which was chaired by President Naeem Querashi. A large number of lawyers attended the meeting.

Participants of the meeting condemned the Indian aggression in the strongest terms and declared that entire Pakistan nation including the lawyers' community stand by the armed forces of the country. Salahuddin Gandapur, Vice Chairman Sindh Bar Council, said that war is not a solution of conflicts and added that today's world revolves around the economics. He said that countries with the strong economies are the real global powers. He said that Pakistan and India are atomic powers and a war between two would affect not only the South Asian region but its impact would go even to USA.
