Pakistan Armed Forces are on high alert with all required safeguards along the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary in place to thwart any Indian aggression. The military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Thursday said that contingents of Pakistan Army are on high alert along the LoC and prepared to deal with any eventuality. Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy are also fully alert, added the ISPR.

The military's media wing said, "During the last 48 hours, Indian troops have resorted to increased ceasefire violations in Kotli, Khuiratta and Tatta Pani Sectors along the LoC. Pakistan Army troops have been responding effectively." "India is continuously violating the Ceasefire Agreement," it further said.

There are reports of casualties to Indian forces and damage to Indian posts. Indian deliberate firing on civilians resulted into martyrdom of four citizens and two others got injured, the ISPR stated.

The military media wing asked public to stay mindful about rumour mills and stay responsible in use of social media. Director General ISPR Major-General Asif Ghafoor also called on the international community to play its role. "Pakistan is sending a message of peace and they [international community] should also come forward and see how the environment between India and Pakistan are a threat to peace and development not only to the two countries but the region and beyond," the DG ISPR said.
