National Assembly's Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training has approved the budgetary proposals of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training relating to the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the financial year 2019-20.

MNA Mian Najeebud Din Awaisi chaired the meeting of the committee on Wednesday here at the Parliament House. The committee after discussing in detail the development programme for the ministry recommended increase in the funding for the next financial year. This was the second meeting of the committee. Earlier, on February 11, the standing committee elected Najeebud Din Awaisi as its chairman.
