Deputy Speaker, Rehana Leghari suspended all the business of the legislature to discuss resolutions tabled by the parliamentary parties in the house to pay tribute to Pak Army for defending the motherland against India's naked aggression. They said that Pakistan armed forces are brave with capabilities to thwart any such aggression.
The resolutions came from PPP's Tanzeela Qambrani, Heer Ismail Soho, Syeda Marvi Faseeh, PTI's Omar Omari, MQM's Muhammad Hussain, TLP's Qasim Fakhri, MMA's Syed Abdul Rasheed and GDA's Nusrat Sehar Abbasi to eulogize the armed forces for their bravery to make Indian air force to bite the dust. The entire house showed unity to support the country's armed forces.
MQM's Muhammad Hussain said that "what our army had told [Indians] it did today". The Pak Air Force inflicted wounds on the Indian Air Force and broke its jaws. He said that Kashmiris are struggling since 1947 against the Indian aggression and for affiliation with Pakistan. "Today's Pakistan is not what it was in 1971," he warned.
PPP's Tanzeela Qambrani said that the Sindh Assembly rejects the Indian aggression, adding that the enemy after its belligerence against Pakistan is now licking its wounds. Pakistan army has slapped pain on India in its befitting response, she said. PTI's Omar Omari said that the entire nation stands by its armed forces to defend the motherland. TLP's Qasim Fakhri said, "We condemn the Indian aggression against Pakistan and lauds Pakistan army's response to India."
MMA's Syed Abdul Rasheed said, "We salute to Pak army for giving an appropriate response to the war hysteric India," adding that Pakistan armed forces action against the Indian aggression 'raised the heads' of the nation in pride. GDA's Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said, "Anyone casting a dirty look on Pakistan has never been spared by Pak Army." She said that the entire nation salutes Pakistan army for their bravery.
PPP's Marvi Faseeh appreciated the legislators for their unity against Indian aggression, saying that 'India should learn some lessons from nuclear bombed Japan'. She said that wars benefit no one. GDA's Husnain Mirza said, "We pay tribute to the mothers of our brave soldiers who send them to war, to defend their motherland." The nation is united to defend the country, he added. PPP's Shehla Raza said that "India will suffer wounds and destruction if it made any attempt to impose war on Pakistan".
MQM's Rashid Khilji said, "The nation is not frightened of Indian military might as support from Almighty Allah is with us." He said that Pakistan is defending its motherland and the message to India is loud and clear. Sindh Revenue Minister, Makhdoom Mehboob-Uz-Zaman paid tribute to the armed forces for defeating Indian aggression and protecting the country's sovereignty.
MQM's Javed Hanif said, "We have not yet attacked [India] just gave a response to Indian aggression," adding that Pakistan reserves its right to reply. "We have yet to respond," he said, and saluted to the armed forces. PPP's Sadia Javed said that Pakistan is a peace loving nation. PTI's Jamal Uddin Siddiqui said that India is plagued with war hysteria while million of its people are living a life beyond the poverty line.
GDA's Shaharyar Khan Mahar said that Pakistan always supported talks for peace. "India is inching towards war just because of an ignorant person - Modi".
PTI's Aleem Adil Shaikh, Khurrum Sher Zaman Khan, Shabbier Qureshi, PPP's, Heer Ismail Soho, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Imdad Pitafi and MQM's Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan also expressed their views. The session will also hold discussion on Pakistan armed forces bravery against Indian aggression on Thursday.
