Director General Sports KP Junaid Khan was the chief guest on this occasion. Skipper Pakistan Volleyball national team Naseer Ahmad, former skippers Shahid Hussain, Abdur Rahim Khan, MB Javed of Pakistan Volleyball Federation MB Javed, Secretary KP Volleyball Association Khalid Waqar, Director General Sports Bahre Karam, officials, players and large number of spectators were also present.
At the end, the chief guest Director General Sports KP Junaid Khan gave away trophies and cash prizes. He announced Rs. 50,000 for the winners and Rs. 40,000 each for the runners-up and third position holders. He also gave cash prizes on behalf of the Higher Education Commission.
Director General Sports KP while addressing the gathering disclosed that they have included Volleyball in the Tehsil level games in which a total of 104 Tehsils including 25 Tehsils of the merger tribal districts from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are taking part. He also announced Rs. 50,000 for the organizing committee of the Directorate of Sports University of Peshawar.
