At least three personnel of the security forces were injured in a remote controlled device explosion in Mirali area of North Waziristan district on Saturday. Official sources said that the blast occurred on Mirali bazaar when the security forces were patrolling the area. The bomb was planted near a wall of school in Mirali Bazaar, which exploded with big bang.

The injured soldiers identified as Sepoys Imran, Attaur Rehman and Rafique, which were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital. The security forces cordoned off the entire area after the blast and launched a search operation. However, no arrest was made till filing of this report.
