Director General Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) Naeem Mughal-led team visited Port Qasim on Monday and inspected Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) and Coal Jetty 3 and 4. The SEPA officials said that the DG called for personal hearing of 22 importers of coal along with Port Qasim Authority and Pakistan Railways to get their viewpoint on dumping of coal in Karachi particularly in Malir. They said the authority would send notices to the parties concerned for the hearing quite soon.
