According to the notification ADCG would be convener of the task force and representatives of field officials of District Officer Industries, Civil Defence, Deputy Director Environment, Enforcement Inspector of Municipal Corporation and Enforcement Inspector of District Council would be the member of District Task Force.
The deputy commissioner said that illegal petroleum agencies/depots/mini petrol pumps and illegal LPG decanting shops were causing loss to national exchequer and at the same time endangering for human life & properties, so that task force has been constituted in public interest. Giving details of Terms of Reference (TORs) of the committee, the deputy commissioner informed that the task force would be empowered to imitate action against mushroom growth of illegal petroleum agencies/depots/ mini petrol pumps and illegal LPG decanting shops and task force would ensure stoppage of this illegal business.
He told that concerned enforcement inspectors of MCF and District Council would seal the illegal shops and other departments of task force would take action under the rules and laws. The deputy commissioner asked the convener of the task force to review the performance of the task force on fortnightly basis.
