Keeping up with traditions, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) sent 12 pediatric cancer survivors to participate in event activities of Pakistan Super League (PSL) being held in Dubai. These cancer patients and survivors are the guests of PSL team Multan Sultan. In their three-day long trip, the kids will watch match between Multan Sultan and Karachi Kings, visit famous tourist places of Dubai and meet the management of Multan Sultan and international cricketers at the event.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday marked the Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators wear the Golden Ribbon synonymous with Childhood Cancer Awareness while the match commentators also wear the ribbon.

The visit of pediatric cancer survivors of SKMCH&RC to Dubai is an effort to make these kids forget their pain and harshness of cancer treatment and enjoy the unforgettable moments in their lives, a spokesman of the hospital, said.
