Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan Ardi Stoios Braken along with Dutch business delegation visited Port Qasim Authority. She was accompanied by Mehmood Baqar Molvi, Advisor to Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The delegation was given warm welcome by Chairman Port Qasim Asad Rafi Chandna and his team. The delegation was given overview of the Port, current activities and future projections.

The Ambassador and delegates appreciated the clean and green environment and effective handling of coal minimizing environmental pollution and termed it essential in current climate change scenario. The Dutch business delegates took keen interest in the Port Qasim Navigational Channel expansion plan and forthcoming energy related projects for investment and provision of supply of related machinery and vessels as opportunity for the Dutch companies for investment and business.

Molvi reiterated Federal Government's policy of inviting investment in a transparent and fast track basis and appreciated the efforts undertaken by the Chairman, PQA and his team to improve productivity at Port Qasim.-PR
