CEO SEDF, Mehbool-ul-Haq said that Sindh has a vast potential of profitable investment in poultry breeder farming and hatchery sector and the province had a capacity of producing only 4 to 5 percent demand of breeding and hatchery while the rest of 95 percent demand in this sector would be fulfilled through import from Punjab.
He said that Sindh Board of Investment was committed to extending incentives and support to investors especially in poultry sector and for this purpose, SEDF was supporting the investors in terms of extending financial support and professional knowledge.
He further informed that in order to spread maximum knowledge about challenges, issues and export potential of poultry sector, SEDF was inviting breeder farmers, hatchery, feed mill, poultry pharmaceuticals, machinery, traders, bankers, Pakistan Poultry Association and officials from Livestock department, TDAT and other stakeholders for meaningful dialogues to flourish this sector in Sindh.
