A senior official of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration told Business Recorder that a 119-member advance security team of the Saudi Crown Prince has reached the federal capital.
He said that the administration has beefed up the security of the entire capital and the hotels where the members of the delegation of the Saudi Crown Prince and his other staff are staying.
Sources further said that six hotels of the capital have already been booked for visiting Saudi delegates, staff members and security team, while the Crown Prince will be staying at the Prime Minister's House.
They said that five trucks full of the Crown Prince's personal amenities, exercise equipment, furniture and other personal belongings have already reached Islamabad.
This will be Prince Mohammed's first-ever visit to Pakistan as the Crown Prince at the invitation extended to him by Prime Minister Imran Khan in which, according to media reports, a record multibillion dollars investment package is expected to be announced.
The city administration on Tuesday increased patrolling as well as number of security personnel at the city's entry and exit points to ensure strict checking. The police also increased the checking points inside the city and randomly checking of the vehicles is continued.
