The Syrian conundrum seems to have taken a new turn with the exit of the US troops from the war-ravaged country. The global belligerent has, however, urged other countries to bring home hundreds of Islamic State sympathizers captured in Syria, a delicate issue for allies such as France. That the US has contributed to the Syrian crisis is a fact. Some other countries, too, have done the same. These states include the regional powers - Iran and Saudi Arabia. Syrians have suffered for too long. They too need peace and prosperity.
