Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has provisionally collected net revenue of over and above Rs 2174 billion during July-January (2018-19) against target of Rs 2,354 billion, reflecting a shortfall of Rs 180 billion. The FBR has collected over Rs 280 billion in January 2019 against the target of Rs 302 billion for this period, reflecting a shortfall of Rs 22billion.

The provisional collection for the month of January 2019 was over Rs 280 billion. FBR has provisionally collected Rs 2174 billion during July-January (2018-19) against Rs 1994 billion in same period of 2017-18, showing an increase of Rs 180 billion.
