Director General Nursing Punjab Kauser Parveen has praised the President of Pakistan for declaring year 2019 as 'Year of Nurses.' While talking to media on the eve of Foundation Day of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), Kauser Parveen said that every Nurse has great commitment, to provide service to the ailing humanity and in every hospital of Punjab practical steps are being taken by the nursing community.

She said that nurses work day and night with doctors and take their profession, as provide best possible facilities to the patients. She added that all Nursing Superintendents across the province have been advised to prepare seniority lists carefully. DG Nursing said that every nurse is equally dear to her and honour and dignity will be preserved for each staff member.
