The city police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested around 130 accused in their 70 raids and an encounter conducted at various city neighbourhoods during the last 24 hours. The police spokesman said around 13 accused were nabbed for possessing illegal arms, 19 were drug dealers, 18 absconders, two proclaimed offenders, three dacoits, and some 75 were involved in other crimes. The under arrest accused are being interrogated. The police also recovered around 2964 gram hashish, 10 gram heroin, and 18 bottles of liquor during the course of actions.
