On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,633. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.444 billion and the number of lots traded 15,535.

Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 6.492 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.183 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.017 billion, gold PKR 964.712 million, DJ PKR 247.852 million, platinum PKR 190.164 million, silver PKR 132.178 million, natural gas PKR 103.167 million, SP500 PKR 60.478 million, copper PKR 32.606 million and Brent crude oil PKR 20.220 million. In agriculture commodities one lot of cotton amounting at PKR 0.507 million was traded.
