The legislators belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) have authorised the party president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to take a final decision on whether to continue with the PTI-led coalition as a partner in light of widening gulf between the two parties due to their grievances. Ch Shujaat who had also served Pakistan as prime minister, presided over the joint meeting of the PML-Q parliamentary parties in National and Provincial Assemblies held at his house in Islamabad.

A statement from Pakistan Muslim League-Q said that the party held a joint meeting to discuss political and economic situation of the country and in particular every member expressed views regarding resignation of Provincial Minerals Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir.

The PML-Q's parliamentary parties' members shared their concerns over negative attitude of the incumbent provincial and federal governments towards their respective constituencies. They apprised Ch Shujaat and Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi of their viewpoint.

MPA from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mufti Obaidur Rehman also attended the meeting and briefed the party chief on KP affairs. They also expressed their grave concerns over regrettable Sahiwal tragedy through a resolution.
