Determined for establishment of a "Drug Free World" the Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 2,536Kgs narcotics valuing Rs 3.22 Billion internationally, arrested 68 culprits including 6 women involved in drug smuggling and impounded 22 vehicles conducting 44 counter narcotics strikes throughout the country in about a fortnight.

ANF spokesman said that seized drugs included 2326.880 Kg Hashish, 108 Kg Opium, 74.12 Kg Heroin, 12.095 Kg Methamphetamine, 7.699 Kg Amphetamine, 132 Gram Cocaine, 12 Litre Liquor,4436x Xanax Tabs, 91x Ecstasy Tabs and 2820 Litres Suspected Chemical.

During its 44 operation ANF foiled several attempts to smuggle narcotics abroad, the spokesman added. All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are underway.
