The Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Tuesday said that foundation of a prosperous Pakistan has been laid under the leadership of prime minister Imran Khan. "When the PTI came into power, the country's economy was devastated and institutions were bankrupted; but in a short span of time, a new example has been set by introducing holistic reforms in various sectors as we do not believe in slogans but in performance," he said while talking to the provincial ministers and assembly members who called on him, here on Tuesday.

Usman Buzdar maintained that public service is the only agenda of the PTI government and work on the composite roadmap of public welfare has been started. He said the PTI government has especially focused on the provision of necessary facilities to the people. "We will come up to the expectations of the people and the dream of new Pakistan will be transformed into reality," he said.

Those who called on chief minister included information & culture minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, labour minister Ansar Majeed Khan, Syed Iftikhar Hassan Gillani MPA, PTI ticket holders from Gujranwala Muhammad Ahmad Chatha and Ch Bilal Ijaz.
