Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anti-Corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, said that if the federal government was sincere to the people of Sindh Province, it should release an amount of Rs92 billion that it had withheld.

Talking to media persons at Sindh Assembly on Tuesday, he retorted to the PTI-led government at the Centre and Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling the latter "Viceroy of Islamabad." He said they would not be able to attain anything and their conspiracies against the duly elected govt of Sindh would fail.

"Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah is the legitimately elected representative of people of the province. Those demanding his resignation must wait for 2023," he said, reminding the PTI that Murad Shah is not a worker of the PTI to resign on their advice. He said that CM was committed to serve the people. Murtaza Wahab rebuffed speculations being bandied around regarding PPP's forward bloc.
