The court recorded the statement of prosecution witness Muhammad Aftab. The judge asked the witness to produce bank record related to the case on the next hearing. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 9.
However, the court did not take up Dar's wife Tabassum Ishaq Dar's plea, challenging Accountability Court's order with regard to sale of movable and immovable properties of her husband.
Dar's wife filed an appeal before the Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir for hearing corruption case against her husband through her counsel Qazi Misbahul Hassan on October 24.
The Accountability Court had ordered to auction Dar's properties and confiscate his bank accounts in Pakistan.
The same court on October 2 ordered the provincial government to auction or keep possession of Dar's properties as he had already been declared a proclaimed offender in the corruption reference for possessing assets beyond known sources of income.
