Ch Parvez Elahi emphasized upon the building construction institutions that work of the new building be completed without any delay. He said we want the new building to be memorable and beautiful.
The Speaker directed the Buildings Department to make fool proof security arrangements in the new building and complete the under-construction mosque and hostel at the earliest. He also gave instructions for making proper arrangements in the new building for sitting of the MPAs drivers.
He further directed the Buildings Department, NESPAK and Secretary that most modern system be installed in the Punjab Assembly's new building after making comparative study of the National Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Sindh Assembly's sound and video broadcasting system.
The meeting was attended by the officials of the Buildings Department, NESPAK and other construction departments as well as Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Secretary Coordination Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar, Director General Parliamentary Affairs Inayatullah Lak and other officials.
