South Korea's state-backed Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. has issued a series of international tenders to purchase a total of around 150,000 tonnes of soyabeans free of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs), European traders said on Monday. The soyabeans are sought for arrival in January to August 2020 in six 25,000 tonne consignments.

The agency regularly makes purchases of commodities for delivery several years ahead. The deadline for tender registration is for offers is Jan. 2 with offer submission on January 3.
