The Punjab government has decided to carry out forensic audit of the allotments of state land and anti-corruption establishment has taken initiative in this regard with the collaboration of revenue department. Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal Ch presided over a meeting to review the details of forensic audit regarding the allotments of state land in Faisalabad division.

During the meeting, Director Anti-Corruption Establishment Mahr Shafqat Ullah Muhtaq briefed about the task of forensic audit and informed that it would be carried out of the state land which had been allotted in any temporary and permanent scheme regarding the cultivation of land.

The Divisional Commissioner said that forensic audit of the state land was an important and significant step of the Punjab government and data should be collected in four districts of the division in this regard. He directed the Deputy Commissioners to hold meeting of the concerned officers and focal persons be appointed to cooperate with the officers of Anti-Corruption Establishment for completing this task smoothly.

He said that the present government had taken an initiative to vacate the state land from the grabbers and thousands kanals of state land had been retrieved during the vigorous operation in this regard which had no example in the past. Meanwhile, Anti-Corruption Establishment has devised a proforma to collect the details of allotment of state land and the information regarding the name of the scheme, whereabouts of the state land, nature of temporary or permanent allotment, completion and non completion of proprietary rights, allotment documents, any litigation or case before any court would be provided.
